WELCOME TO AMP!
For over 30 years, the Artist Mentorship Program (AMP) has been at the forefront of providing essential resources and fostering connections for youth experiencing homelessness in Portland, Oregon. Our mission is to empower young individuals through music, art, and mentorship - creating a safe and inclusive environment where they can explore their creative potential and build pathways to stability.
OUR MISSION
The Artist Mentorship Program supports youth navigating the trauma of homelessness by creating community, relationships, and music and arts mentorships so that self esteem is enhanced, confidence is fortified, and pathways out of homelessness are built.

WHAT WE DO
Our programming includes a variety of artistic and educational opportunities as well as essential services - such as food programs and access to resources - that address the immediate needs of our youth.
Through our work, we aim to not only transform individual lives but also to build a stronger, more compassionate community. Join us as we continue this vital work, celebrating three decades of impact and looking forward to many more years of making a difference together.

EQUITY STATEMENT
The Artist Mentorship Program (AMP) recognizes the systemic oppression of youth experiencing homelessness and works to engage all voices to create a diverse and inclusive environment in which youth can thrive.
